Agency and Security Trustee Services

Established in 2018, currently managing in excess of €2.3bn of Agency transactions. 

The Agency Team services within AIB Corporate Banking is managed by a team of experienced and specialised staff with backgrounds in lending, loan operations and corporate finance. The team holds a leading position in this specialised area in Ireland.

Based in Dublin, the team’s role is to act as the primary point of contact between the transaction parties to a syndicated facility. The team facilitates and support the process of origination, drawdown and administration of a loan. This service is available to corporate borrowers and lenders in syndicated and club loans markets.

The transactions in which AIB perform the Agency role are diverse and our team brings great added value to the syndicate bank group and the borrower in the management and ongoing monitoring of the proposed facility.

The team performs the Agency and the Security Trustee role on transactions across all sectors including, Project Finance, Infrastructure, Energy, Property, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Food & Agriculture.
