AIB’s Bike-A-Thon in Support of the Irish Heart Foundation

A fantastic charity event was organised by AIB Richmond Street South on Friday 13^th March. In aid of the Irish Heart Foundation, seven of the branch staff undertook the Bike-A-Thon and together achieved the amazing goal of cycling 183.7 kilometres in support of this great cause that touches so many of us. The event raised €1465 and was supported by Penny Farthing Cycles Ltd, 82 Lower Camden Street, who kindly provided a turbo trainer to support the event.

Sponsorship for the Bike-A-Thon was supported by friends and family and there were collection buckets present in the branch on the day for customers to kindly donate. In support of the event, the Irish Heart Foundation also kindly provided t-shirts, balloons, sponsorship cards and collection containers for the branch.

There was a fantastic atmosphere in the branch on the day and customers were also treated to love heart decorations and sweets in support of the event. All the staff in AIB Richmond Street South were dedicated and committed to helping with this great initiative and were all present in branch on the day.
