Register Online for AIB Phone and Internet Banking.

Our new online registration process allows you to register online in minutes for access to AIB Phone and Internet Banking. Simply click here to register.  Once you have completed the online registration you can login and begin using the service immediately.
 

If you have previously registered but have forgotten your Registration Number or Personal Access Code you can now reset your login details online.

Who can register online?

Online Registration is available to the following AIB customers:

  • Personal Bank Account customers who hold a valid AIB Debit Card

  • Sole account holders

  • 16 years of age and older

If you do not meet the above criteria you can still register for Phone and Internet Banking by calling us on 0818 724 020 (+353 1 771 2424 from abroad).

What do you need to complete registration online?

You will need to ensure that you know or have the following before beginning the process:

  • Your AIB Debit Card

  • Your AIB Sort Code and Account Number or your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) - this must be the account to which your Debit Card is linked

  • Your date of birth

  • Your mobile phone - we will be sending you an activation code by SMS to your mobile phone

  • Your e-mail address - we will be sending you important documentation by e-mail.

If you do not have any of the above you will not be able to complete the process online and can call us on 0818 724 020 (+353 1 771 2424 from abroad) to register over the phone.

How does Online Registration work?

You will be asked to enter personal information which we will then validate against our records.

 

Once we have validated this information we will send you an activation code by SMS to your mobile phone and an e-mail containing important documentation.

 

You will be asked to enter the activation code and confirm that you have received the Terms and Conditions by e-mail.  You will have 30 minutes to enter the activation code and confirm acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.  If you have not done so the code will expire and you will need to start the online registration process again.

 

You can then select a Personal Access Code (PAC) of your choice.  We will provide you with your eight digit Registration Number and you can then log into Internet Banking.


Please ensure you take a note of your Registration Number when it appears on screen as we will not e-mail this number.

 

If you hold any other sole accounts with AIB, these can be added after successful registration via the Manage my Accounts menu option.  However, if you hold joint accounts with AIB, you will need to call 0818 724 724 or +353 1 7712424 and an operator can assist you.

Registering for AIB Phone & Internet Banking also gives you access to a range of additional services such as AIB Mobile Banking and AIB Tablet Banking.

 

Please note that for some of the services available you will need an AIB Card Reader, which offers extended security.  More information is available here.
