The Financial Brand, an online publication focusing on branding issues and advice affecting retail banks and credit unions has created a social media ranking system known as the Power 100.
The Power 100 rankings are produced from a database encompassing hundreds of banks and credit unions in English- speaking countries around the world. Every year, The Financial Brand monitors roughly 2,000 banks and credit unions on Facebook, and another 2,500 banks and credit unions on Twitter.
In the second quarter of 2013, AIB achieved an overall ranking of 55th place in The Financial Brand's power 100.
Rankings include the most Facebook 'Likes', the highest Facebook engagement rate, most Twitter followers, most tweets sent, most Twitter accounts followed, most YouTube video views and most YouTube subscribers.
