"The AIB Graduate Programme has been a genuinely transformative experience. Over three rotations—as a Developer in Splunk, QA on the AIB Mobile app, and Business Analyst in Payments—I got hands-on exposure to different parts of the bank, each offering unique challenges and learning opportunities. I also had the chance to contribute to the Graduate & Apprentice Podcast (GAP), volunteer for causes I care about, and attend flagship events like the 2024 Sustainability Conference. These experiences helped me engage with the wider organisation and explore interests beyond my day-to-day role. What stood out most was the culture—open, inclusive, and filled with incredible people who were always willing to help. From building core technical skills to navigating cross-functional work and improving how I communicate, the programme pushed me to grow in practical ways. I’m finishing with a clearer sense of direction, valuable experience, and meaningful connections that I genuinely appreciate."
