We’re making your life even easier by allowing you to register for AIB Phone and Internet Banking online in a few simple steps. Once you’ve finished the process of registering online, you’re able to log in and begin to use AIB Internet Banking straight away.

Who’s eligible to register online?

If you’re an AIB customer, you can register online if you have a sole bank account, an AIB Debit Card and are 16 years or over.

Your online registration checklist

Make sure you’ve the below items and you’ll be all set to register online:

·Your IBAN

·Date of Birth

·AIB Debit Card

·Mobile Phone

·Email Address

How does it work?

First, you’ll be asked for some personal information which we’ll quickly check against our records. You’ll then be sent a verification text and an email containing some important documents.

Next, you will be asked to enter you activation code, confirming that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions. After this, you will be able to select your PAC (Personal Access Code) and will be given your registration number. It’s important to take note of this as it will not be emailed to you.

What features are available?

Once you’re registered, you will have access to a whole host of AIB services. You can check your balance and transactions, pay bills*, transfer money* and top up your mobile phone.

You will also have access to a range of extra services through downloading the AIB Tablet Banking App, AIB Mobile Banking App and Me2U App. Some of these services will require the use of an AIB Card Reader which you can find out more about here.
