AIB opens its doors in The Park, Carrickmines on the 28th October and if you live or work in the surrounding area, you’ll be pleased to know that the Carrickmines outlet will open seven days a week.

We know that it’s not always easy to fit banking into your busy schedule, so we’ll be open for business from 9.30am – 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, 9.30am – 7pm on Thursday and Friday and 12pm – 4pm on Sunday.

We’ll also be bringing you the full range of self-service banking facilities, including Cash and Cheque Lodgement machines and Kiosk Banking, to make sure you have the smoothest banking experience possible. Our team of highly experienced staff will be on hand to offer advice on everything from mortgages to personal account products to student and youth accounts and business loans.

The Park, Carrickmines is Ireland’s busiest retail park, with an average of 90,000 customers per week. It’s also home to thousands of locals as well, with plans for further expansion underway. Located close to the M50 and Luas, the outlet is easily accessible and the team will be on hand to help customers whenever suits them best.

Excited to start meeting the local community, the outlet’s manager Annalise Hogan said: “It's a great news story for AIB because we're putting our customers first and we're putting their needs first. We’ll be available before work, during lunch, after work, and at weekends. Whenever they're available to meet us, we'll be there.”

With a dedicated team joining her in the outlet, Annalise added: “We’re really looking forward to going out and meeting the new customers and getting awareness out there that we're here to support their business and their financial needs."

The Carrickmines opening will be accompanied by the opening of two additional new AIB outlets in Little Island, Cork and Grand Canal Dock, Dublin. These new outlets represent the first branch openings for AIB in three years.

AIB’s Head of Distribution, Denis O’Callaghan, said that the extended opening hours show a clear commitment to putting the customer first.

He said: “Clearly, given the nature of these marketplaces, the opening hour proposition is very important. Traditional banking hours, quite frankly, wouldn’t work, in the context of doing right for our customers”

“I think it says something very positive about the communities that we are going to set up our business there. And then in terms of the nature of the offering we’re going to bring to bear, it’s carefully considered in terms of reflecting the business nature and dynamics of the local marketplaces, and hopefully fitting very neatly in terms of what those communities require.”
