The Toughest Trade Facebook LIVE event

AIB along with a panel of sporting experts will broadcast live on facebook.com/AIBGAA. The Toughest Trade, part of the #TheToughest campaign, will see Murphy trade the round ball for the oval ball with former Welsh winger Shane Williams as he tries professional rugby with Top 14 side ASM Clermont Auvergne while Williams travels to Glenswilly GAA Club in Donegal.

The time has almost come lads! The first episode of The Toughest Trade airs on RTE2 at 9.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday). Episode one will see Donegal footballer Michael Murphy swap sports with former Welsh rugby winger Shane Williams. Murphy travelled to France to team up with Top 14 side Clermont Auvergne and in return, Williams temporarily joined Murphy’s club Glenswilly.

For all you who want to learn more about the experiences of both players, we'll be broadcasting an expert panel discussion through Facebook Live. The event will begin broadcasting on facebook.com/AIBGAA from 9.00pm on Wednesday before the episode goes on air.

Hosted by Joanne Cantwell, special guests will include Michael Murphy and previous show participants Brendan Maher and Aaron Kernan. Joanne will be joined by an expert panel that will include Kerry football star Marc Ó Sé, rugby legend turned coach Geordan Murphy and sports pundit Ciaran Murphy. Before the show, during the ad breaks and after the show the panel will provide insightful analysis, discussion, and debate about The Toughest Trade, the GAA and its comparisons with professional sports.
