How do I create an iBB Passphrase?

Go to www.aib.ie/ibb and Log in to iBB.

Key in your 8-character User ID (this is on the letter you received from AIB) and select Continue.

Local Administrators: Type in your Personal Access Code.

Other Users: Go to the next step.

Enter your new Passphrase in the 'Create New Passphrase' and 'Confirm New Passphrase' fields. Select Continue.

Local Administrators: You can now proceed to log into iBB with your User ID, Passphrase and OTC.

Other Users: Ask your Local Administrator to validate your Passphrase request in their iBB validation list.  If your company has requested dual validation on the IBB Application form, a second validation will be required. This must be done before you can log in.

Passphrase Rules:

The passphrase must comply with the following criteria:

It must be between 8 to 25 characters in length with no spaces. Must contain at least 1 aplha and 1 numeric character. It can contain lower and upper case letters, numeric characters and/or the following special characters: 

` ‘ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = [ ] { } , ; : . ?/ 

Please Note: Passphrase is case sensitive.
