At AIB we are committed to protecting you against the threats associated with internet and other types of fraud. Here, you will find details of specific current security threats to our customers and alerts that you should be aware of.
Urgent Fraud Update
Fraudsters are contacting customers pretending to be from AIB. Be wary of all calls you receive and if in doubt, hang up the phone and call us back on a trusted number from our website.
Remember:
We will NEVER ask you to visit a secure website to cancel a payment or ask you to download software to share your screens.
We will NEVER ask you to reveal details of your IBB login, including password.
We will NEVER ask you to generate a code from your digipass.

Fraudulent emails / text messages
Be on your guard for suspicious activity.
If you receive an email or text message pertaining to be from AIB or from an unrecognised source, requesting you click a link to take action do not open the mail as this may be fraudulent.
