Features & Benefits
Save whenever you want and access after 31 days
With the Business Notice Deposit, you can put money away that you don’t need day to day and earn interest. You can have as little or as much as you like in the account, adding money as many times as you need, giving you the flexibility to save more whenever you want. You can then access your money with 31 days notice.
How to open a Business Notice Deposit Account
All our new and existing business customers, who have a payment account, can open the account at any of our branches. You can hold as many accounts as per your business needs.
Minimum Notice Period
You won't have immediate access to your money and will need to wait the minimum notice period of 31 days before your money is available.
You can give us notice by visiting any of our branches or you can print and complete the form available here.
We will transfer your money at the end of the notice period to the account that you specify. If this falls on a non-business day, the transfer will happen on the next business day.
You can cancel your notice at any time up to the business day before the minimum notice period. Only one notice period can be served at a time.
The minimum notice period is counted in calendar days.
Add money easily
Choose the option that suits you best to easily put money into your account. You can add money to your account online, by electronic transfer, or by visiting a branch.
Interest
A variable interest rate will be calculated each day and we’ll put it into your account every April and October.
Interest is subject to Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT) at the prevailing rate where applicable. (For more detailed information, visit www.revenue.ie)
