Planned maintenance for Payments, Credit and Debit cards on 16 November 2025.

Credit and Debit Cards

You may not be able to use your AIB debit and credit cards to withdraw cash from ATMs or use our external Cash and Cheque Lodgement machines on Sunday 16 November 2025, between 02:00 to 03:00. We have planned maintenance during this time.

Debit card payments may also be affected during this time.

Payments made to AIB credit cards may also be impacted.

If you have a question, please call us between 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Sunday on (01) 269 5022 (+353 1 269 5022 outside of Ireland) for debit cards, or (01) 668 5500 (+353 1 668 5500 outside of Ireland) for credit cards, except on bank holidays.

Personal Channels:

Due to essential maintenance, our Payment services won’t be available from 2:00am to 10:00am on 16th November 2025. During this time, you won’t be able to make payments via Mobile or Internet Banking. Incoming SEPA Instant payments may be impacted during this period.

Everything else will be available as normal (Account Balances, Lost & Stolen Cards, Loan applications etc). We’re keeping the disruption to quieter times, however, we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Business Channels:

Due to essential maintenance, our Internet Business Banking (iBB) services won’t be available from 2:00am to 10:00am on 16th November 2025. 

Incoming SEPA Instant payments may be impacted during this period. We’re keeping the disruption to quieter times, however, we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.
