SEPA Instant Bulk Payments
A SEPA instant bulk payment contains only SEPA instant payments. It allows businesses to send multiple instant euro payments between payment accounts within the SEPA zone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Account funding
|
You must have sufficient funds in your account, on the debit date, to cover the full value of the SEPA instant bulk payment or the payment will fail and will incur fees. Sufficient funds include credit balances and any available overdraft facility.

Rejections
|
In addition to funds checks, there are other reasons that may cause a SEPA instant payment to fail, including;

| Transaction blocks | Only one block of SEPA instant payments is permitted per file. Multiple blocks are not possible.

Debit date
|
All SEPA instant payments within a file must have the same debit date. Multiple debit dates are not possible.

Debit account
|
Only one debit account is permitted per file. Multiple debit accounts are not possible.

File version
|
SEPA instant bulk payments must be in the ISO 20022 compliant file format. Please visit www.aib.ie/business/help/filespecifications for more information.

OIN requirement
|
A new SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (ICT) Originator Identification Number (OIN) is required.
|
Cut-off times
|
There are no cut-off times that apply for SEPA instant bulk payments.
|
Limits
|
SEPA instant limits are available to you if you would like to use them. If you have set a SEPA instant limit, it applies to both SEPA instant individual payments and SEPA instant bulk payments.

How to apply for SEPA Instant Bulk Payments
To apply for SEPA instant bulk payments please complete the following:
- The Instant Credit Transfer (ICT) OIN form and return to your relationship manager or local branch.
- SEPA Instant Credit Transfer files must be in the ISO 20022 compliant file format. Please click on ISO20022 icon below for more details.
