Support for Ulster Bank Corporate and Business Customers
Ulster Bank is leaving the Irish market. As a result, some Ulster Bank corporate and business customers are being moved to us.

As part of an agreement with Ulster Bank, some facilities (including business loans and other products) are moving to us. Ulster Bank have written to customers to tell them about this. If you are unsure if your facilities are included, please contact Ulster Bank. The following Q&A relate to customers who have been informed by Ulster Bank that their facilities are moving to AIB. If your facility is included Ulster Bank will have written to you.
We’re working with Ulster Bank on a smooth transfer. We will welcome new customers over several phases this year and we will support them throughout the process. We will let you know what you need to do when the time comes. How do I know if my business loan is included?

What will I need to do?
We will write to you to let you know what you need to do when the time comes. Your letter will also include any documents you need to sign. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact your Ulster Bank Relationship Manager, or visit the Ulster Bank Ireland website.

Do I need to reapply for my business facilities?
No, you do not need to reapply for any of the facilities moving to us. You will receive a letter from Ulster Bank to say which of your facilities will be moving. However, in some cases you will need to sign documents and we will let you know what to do.

Will my Ulster Bank overdraft move automatically?
To move your Ulster Bank overdraft, you will need to have a business current account with us.

Will I still have a Relationship Manager when I move to AIB?
Rest assured, we have dedicated teams available to help you. However, not all customers moving to us will have a Relationship Manager. Once you move, you are most welcome to contact us on 0818 724 724 or drop in to see us at your local branch. If you have a Relationship Manager, we will let you know once you move to us.
