AIB Phone Banking give you a secure and confidential banking service that fits your schedule. You can register for free for this service.  Transaction fees and charges apply.  Calls are charged at the standard operator rates.

How to register

If you have an AIB bank account, savings account or credit card you can call us on 0818 724 020 to register for this service.  Alternatively, you can now register online for AIB Phone and Internet Banking.

Services Available

  • Check your account transactions & balances
  • Order current/ copy statements
  • Hear the PIN for your Personal Visa Debit Card 
  • Pay bills and manage your standing orders
  • Transfer money between accounts within Ireland
  • Top up your mobile phone
  • Cancel SEPA Direct Debits*
  • Search for and place a stop on single and/or multiple cheques, as well as removing a cheque stop*

*These requests can only be completed by a Customer Service Advisor.

An AIB Card Reader/Code Card will be required for certain transactions.

AIB Phone Banking is available 20 hours a day, subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Once you are registered, you can ring AIB Phone Banking on 0818 724 724* anytime to use the automated facility for routine transactions. A Customer Service Adviser is available for non- routine transactions, or if you need help. You will be required to enter your 8 digit Registration number and 3 random digits from your Personal Access Code (PAC).
