What do you need to retrieve your Registration Number online?
This service is available to either sole or joint account holders who are registered for AIB Phone & Internet Banking and are Personal Bank Account Customers who hold a valid AIB Debit Card.
You will need to ensure that you know or have the following before beginning the process:
Your AIB Debit Card
Your date of birth
Your mobile phone - we will be sending you an activation code by SMS to your mobile phone
If you do not have any of the above, you will not be able to complete the process online and can call us on 0818 724 020 (+353 1 7712424 from abroad) Monday to Sunday 9:00 to 17:00, to reset your details over the phone.
How does the online retrieval work?
You will be asked to enter personal information which we will then validate against our records.
Once we have validated this information, we will send you an activation code by SMS to your mobile phone.
You will be asked to enter the activation code which will remain valid for 30 minutes. If you have not done so within this time, the code will expire and you will need to start the process again.
After keying in the activation code, we will display your eight digit Registration Number on screen.
Please ensure you take a note of your Registration Number when it appears on screen, because we will not be sending you this number.
