• Video 1: How to make a SEPA Instant Payment and use Verification of Payee on the Mobile App
  The following video is a step-by-step guide on how to make a SEPA Instant Payment on the Mobile App and how to use Verification of Payee.

   

  Step 1: Log in to the AIB mobile app.

  Step 2: Select Pay & Transfer and then Pay another account.

  Step 3: Choose the account to make your payment from.

  Step 4: Select Pay someone new.

  Step 5: When the Fraud Awareness Screen appears, select the reason for payment and continue if you’re happy it’s not fraudulent.

  Step 6: Enter Payee Details and IBAN.

   

  When making a payment, Verification of Payee will present 1 of 4 results, depending on the name you have entered.
   

  1. Details do not match
  2. Close match
  3. Full match
  4. Match not possible

  Step 7: After completing Verification of Payee, enter the amount to send, the payee message and the payment type.

  Step 8: You can select either Instant or Standard payment.

  Step 9: Confirm payment and that’s it! Your payment has arrived in your payee’s account.
• Video 2: How to set up a SEPA Instant Payment Limit on the Mobile App
  The following video is a step-by-step guide on how to set up a SEPA Instant Payment Limit on the Mobile App.

   

  Step 1: Log in to the AIB mobile app.

  Step 2: Select Settings, Account Management, and then Set a SEPA Instant Payment Limit.

  Step 3: You can select either Daily Limit or Transaction Limit. To amend a Daily Limit, tap the Daily limit toggle switch and enter an amount. You can then press Save limits.

  Step 4: To clear your current limit, select Clear limits. A pop up will ask you to confirm clearing the limit. After selecting Clear limit, the limit is now removed.

   

  You can only set one limit at a time: Daily limit or Transaction limit. If you choose to change your limit, your previous limit will be removed and replaced with the new limit. Limits can be changed at any time.

   

  And that’s it! You can now set up a SEPA Instant Payments Limit at any time.
• Video 3: How to pay a bill on the Mobile App, through a SEPA Instant Payment
  The following video is a step-by-step guide on how to pay a bill on the Mobile App, through a SEPA Instant Payment.

   

  Step 1: Log into the AIB Mobile App

  Step 2: Select Pay & Transfer, and then ‘Pay a bill’.

  Step 3: Select the bill you would like to pay

  Step 4: Choose the account to make the payment from.

  Step 5: Enter the amount to send, and the payment type. You can select either Instant or Standard payment. For Instant, select Instant payment.

  Step 6: Confirm payment and that’s it your payment has arrived in the bill provider’s account.
