A new law is now in place to support people who need help with decision-making
Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015.
AIB welcomes the commencement of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015.
The Act introduces a legal framework for people who need support with decision making and sets up the Decision Support Service.
The Decision Support Service support the rights and interests of people who may need help with decision-making. There are different types of supports which the Decision Support Service provide information and guidance on.
