How do I increase the limit on my AIB Credit Card?

AIB Internet Banking
Log in to AIB Internet Banking
Click on Manage my Cards
Choose the relevant card and click on Request Limit Increase
Follow the on screen instructions to complete your request.
Alternatively select your AIB Credit Card in Accounts, and click on the Account Management and select Request Limit Increase. Follow the instructions on screen.
In order to apply for a limit increase on your AIB Credit Card, we need to have your confirmed PPSN number on file. If we don't have your PPSN, you need to upload a form of documentation showing your PPSN and full name. (Go to Services & Settings and select Verify PPSN)
We will notify you by SMS once your document is verified and you can continue your Limit Increase application. In most cases, this should be completed within 1 business day.

Visit the Quick Banking Area where you can use the Kiosk.

1. Log in to the AIB Mobile App
2. Click ‘Cards’
3. Choose your card and click on ‘Request limit increase’
4. Follow the instructions
We need your Personal Public Service Number (PPSN) to process the limit increase request for your credit card. If we don't have your PPSN, we will ask you to upload a document showing your PPSN and full name.
We will text you once your document is verified. It usually takes us a day to do this and you can continue to apply for your limit increase.
