How do I go about swapping?
Please fill out your contact details at credit card swap callback form and we will contact you to start the credit card swap.

What credit card can I swap to?
We have a number of cards available, please go to our credit card page to find out more information and to see which one suits you best.

If I do swap, can I keep my existing card and card number?
No, unfortunately we will need to issue you with a new credit card with a new card number. Your 4 digit PIN number will remain the same. You can continue to use your existing card until you receive your new card.

Will my new card be visible on my Mobile Banking app?
It depends which card you swap to. The Click credit card will be automatically added to your Mobile Banking profile. If you swap to a 'be' or Platinum card you will need to add your new card account to your profile.

How do I make payments into the new card?
Payments can be made the same way you make payments today. For example; Direct Debit, Mobile Banking transfer, lodgement using a giro, etc.

I pay my AIB credit card bill by direct debit, do I need to do anything about this if I swap?
No, your direct debit will automatically carry over to your new card. You do not need to do anything.

Can I change the percentage my direct debit is set up to pay my credit card bill each month?
Yes, this can be done over the phone by calling 01 - 6685500

I have an authorised user on my card, what happens that card if I swap?
The authorised user will automatically receive a new card. We do ask that you let them know that a new card will be sent to them and they continue using their existing card until then. Please note if you do not currently have an authorised user, it is not possible to add one.

Can I add or change an Authorised User on my new card?
You can remove an authorised user. However, you cannot change the name or add a new authorised user as we no longer offer authorised user service.

I pay subscriptions from my card (e.g gym/toll) what happens these payments if I swap?
Any recurring payments will not automatically carry over to your new credit card. You will need to contact your provider and give them your new card details.

Can I still use my old card while waiting on my new card?
Yes, you can continue to use your old card as it will remain active for 14 days. Once you receive your new card you should start to use this card.

How do I close my credit card?
If you want to close your existing card without swapping to a new AIB card, please call us on 01-6685500.
