I paid for tickets for an event (e.g. a concert) on my card. The event has now been cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Can I get a refund?

The first thing you need to do is to contact your service provider. If they have cancelled an event they normally have to offer you a refund. If you have already tried to solve this issue with them and now you want to raise a dispute, please fill out our dispute form at https://aib.ie/content/dam/aib/personal/docs/our-products/credit-cards/dispute-transaction-form.pdf. You will need to give us a copy of your booking confirmation, as well as proof that the event has been cancelled by the provider and proof that you have tried to solve this with them. Please give us this information as soon as you can so we can help get your money back because the Visa dispute process has a strict timeframe in which you can dispute a payment.
