Everyone should have access to their bank in a way that makes them most comfortable.

There are many ways you can choose to bank, from a simple tap of your card to a full suite of branch services. Find out more about the various ways you can bank with us here or download our brochure.

Support if you can’t see very well

If you can’t see very well, our AIB Mobile Banking App supports accessibility usage for both Android and iOS users.

You can also bank with us through AIB Phone Banking. You can sign up for AIB Phone Banking by calling 0818 724 724 or dropping into your local branch. Find out more about AIB Phone Banking here

We use card readers for transactions that require further security. If you need a Usability Card Reader you can order one by calling AIB Phone Banking on 0818 724 724 or +353 1 771 2424  from abroad.

On our website we have tried to make all the text scalable up and down. In most of the modern browsers, you can find the 'text size' option in the 'view' menu in the top left of the browser window. There are also printing options available. We can print your bank statements in Braille or in large print if you ask us. Call us on 0818 227 056 or drop into your local branch to arrange it.

All our ATMs have an adopted keypad that has a raised pip on the number 5 button. They also have new universal raised icons on the function keys for Enter, Clear and Cancel.

Irish Sign Language Interpreting Service

If you are a sign language user, you can contact AIB using the Irish Remote Interpreting Service (IRIS).

IRIS is a government funded charity which provides live video-link access to an Irish Sign Language interpreter. As a sign language user, you can communicate with the Sign Language interpreter over video-link while the interpreter phones a company and translates on your behalf.

AIB accepts calls from IRIS Monday to Friday 9am–5pm.

To contact AIB through an IRIS sign language interpreter:

  1. Find out more about IRIS and make an appointment here.
  2. Let your IRIS interpreter know that you want to contact AIB.
  3. IRIS has standard contact details for AIB which your interpreter will use to make contact and translate on your behalf.
