How much can I borrow?
If you’re looking to borrow between €1,000 and €30,000, applying online takes just a few minutes, and you can get a decision within three hours. For loans over €30,000, call 0818 724 725 or contact your local branch.

How do I apply for a loan?
If you’re applying for a loan between €1,000 and €30,000 and you’re already a customer with us, you can apply through Internet Banking or the AIB App. If you’re a joint applicant, new to AIB or you’re looking to borrow a larger amount (from €30,000), you’ll need to ask for a call back so we can talk you through the process. When do I get my money?
Once we approve your loan and you request your money, we’ll send the money straight to your Current Account.

What can I use the money for?
Unless you’re taking out a green personal loan, there are no restrictions on what you use the money for.
