  This video provides a step-by-step guide to sending money using Zippay in the AIB mobile app.

  It shows how to access the Zippay hub from the app’s home screen or through the Payments section. The video demonstrates how to select an existing contact and explains that contacts who can receive a Zippay payment have a green Zippay logo beside their names.

  The video also shows how to send money to someone who is not saved as a contact by entering their mobile number. A name can be added and the person can be saved as a contact for future payments. It also explains how to send another payment to someone who has previously received money by opening the Completed section of the Zippay hub.

  The video then demonstrates how to enter a payment amount, add an optional reference and review the recipient’s details. For security, an abbreviated version of the recipient’s name is displayed so the customer can check that they are paying the correct person. If the customer is unsure, they are advised to contact the intended recipient before proceeding.

  Finally, the video shows how to confirm the payment by tapping Send money and displays the confirmation screen indicating that the payment has been sent.
