In September, we'll begin the process of introducing an updated and simplified AIB logo, an evolution of our existing logo which was last updated 26 years ago. This simplified logo has been designed to ensure more effective use on digital channels.
With one million of our customers now regularly using these channels, we are adapting our logo to improve its clarity. The current AIB logo was designed in a pre-digital era and is unsuitable for use on today's small screens.
In order to roll it out in the most effective way possible, our logo will be updated on a step-by-step basis over the next 18 months. This approach means that both existing and new versions of the logo will be visible for a while.
From week commencing 12th September you will see our updated logo appearing on our website, ATM screens and across our in-branch self-service machines. After that you will see it appearing across AIB Internet, Mobile and Tablet Banking channels.
We will introduce it on print and other materials such as debit & credit cards only as stocks deplete.
