AIB Variable Rate Mortgage Change

Following the European Central Bank’s increases in interest rates since July 2022 and in a rising interest rate environment, we are increasing all our variable interest rates.

From 14 August 2023, we’ll increase our variable interest rates for mortgages by 0.65% for Private Dwelling Homes (PDH).

We will write to affected customers before the change to advise them of the increase in their mortgage repayments.

To request a change to the interest rate on your mortgage you must complete the customer information and section 2 of the Mortgage Amendment Form. Please print and complete the form ensuring it is signed by all parties to the mortgage and email it to homemortgages@aib.ie. Alternatively, return it to the address shown on the form.
